I actually toyed with the idea of doing it that way, but in the end I came to the conclusion that I’ll have even more problems if I had to come back later and patch up the many empty spots and try to make them fit the overall narrative (particularly if my brain decides to go down a surprising route yet again while doing it). So, I settled for keeping to write in order... even if this way is a bit of a struggle at the moment.
