Napping

Yes, I've reached the stage in my life where I ADORE taking a nap.
There's nothing better than taking an hour or two out of your day to catch a few Zeds, and I usually have the BEST dreams during those naps (might have something to do with compulsively reading yummy fanfics before laying down...).

Whenever I hear toddlers or pre-schoolers complain about not wanting to take a nap I'm about 5 seconds away from cutting into the conversation, demanding that I can have that nap instead ;)

Ah yes, the joys of cuddling your pillow during the day *happy sigh*

Yep, nothing wrong with a snooze!

I feel rather culpable for making one as young as yourself feel the need for a daytime nap, though I do see the point to a daytime siesta in hot weather. Yay for pervy dreams though.

By the way, my apologies. I know I owe you a lot of responses to the lovely comments you've been leaving and I will, I promise. Unfortunately we've had to do an emergency dash to visit my (not) Mother In Law to fix her central heating and she doesn't have broadband, which is a bit of a trauma.

Nothing at all ;)

And it is such a nice way to leave the chaos of the day behind for an hour or two. :)

:) If you feel responsible for my need to take a nap, let me just say: I love you for it! ;)
There are worse things that could be happening... a desire for frequent naps is something I can live with :D

I'll simply pretend living in a climate hot enough to require taking a siesta... I think siesta's are something the rest of the world could absolutely learn from those countries. Taking a few hours off in the middle of the day would reduce stress quite a bit in most of the western world, I think. And it certainly would make us happier as well ;)

No need to apologise! I've been AWOL as well, but for worse reasons - I'm just lazy, not out of broadband reach ;)
I hope things at your not-MIL (wonderful to meet another person who has a Mother In Law that "isn't really a Mother In Law but there's no other word for what she is" ;) ) have been solved and the trauma is successfully dealt with!
