(no subject)

Himself's sister and her boyfriend had a terrible car-accident yesterday evening.
Both sustained quite severe injuries - but not life-threatening, thank god.

I don't know... I work on auto-pilot at the moment. I'm in shock, somehow.

And since I don't know what to do - I feel so useless at the moment - I try to make up plans for any "Get Well"-surprises I can take to the hospital during the next days to distract them (most of all Himself's sister) a little bit.
Any ideas?!

It is a shock. You are doing your best, trying to help right now.

Get Well Ideas - books, sweets, radio / mp3 with headphones - if it is allowed in hospital. Because, You know, it tends to get terribly lonely in hospital bed, and radio/mp3 helps. If you can get audio books, that might help as well.

Hugs.

Thanks for your kind words. I feel really at a loss at the moment *sigh* I don't know, it bothers me so much, not being able to DO something. I'm not a doctor, so of course I can't really "do" anything, but just sitting here and being forced to wait really drives me crazy.

Books and sweets are great ideas, which I'll definitely realise. Regarding the mp3 - I know she has her I-Phone with her so I think that takes care of that. At least I hope so, if not, I'll get her one.

Thanks again for your words and ideas, they're really appreciated!!!

Hugs.
