11 - BROTP

There are two, actually... or rather, two threesomes ;)

The first are our very own original "Two and A Half Men": Legolas, Gimli and Aragorn

I know that the books only speaks of the friendship between Legolas and Gimli, but since Legolas and Aragorn are joined at the hip (or... somewhere close ;) )anyway, in my head there's no question that it's a friendship between the three of them.

The other group of friends/brothers are Aragorn, Elladan and Elrohir.

Since the films sadly don't give us El and El (or El, El and Estel for that matter), I've had to borrow some pics drawn by people way more talented and creative than me.

My view of the friendship/brotherly bond between the Rivendell Twins and our Ranger is in large parts based upon the Mellon Chronicles (once again: if you haven't yet, go read it NOW!)... and since I've accepted the Chronicles as my head!canon there's no way around mentioning these three as my BROTP - although, since Legolas ends up as a honorary brother to all of them, I guess I could sum up today's question as:

Elladan/Elrohir/Aragorn/Legolas/Gimli ;)

A lovely selection, and aren't those artists talented? Wow!

They certainly are!

I just wish I had ANY drawing-talent to speak of :( My mom paints/draws, but sadly I can't even create a believable flower :D My skill-level is still the same as when I was 4 *grins*

My dad was an artist, as was my great-grandfather. Only as a hobby, but I think I've shown you those photos before so you probably knew that. :-)

I can draw a bit, but not people, never people!

Yes, I remember!

So the artistic talent runs in both our families and you ended up with a bit of it, and I completely missed out... the wonder of genetics :)

Drawing people is really hard - I can't even remotely understand how people actually manage to draw a life-like face. The body is hard enough, but a face? Nope, can't imagine how people do that!
(I'm approximately at the "that's a circle - uhm- face. That's a circle-face!"-stage. *giggles*)

I studied maths, science and art at school and have certificates to prove it, but one of the big attractions of doing art was that it didn't fit the maths/science timetable so I had to go to art class instead of sports. Handy that! ;-)

Well, if I had had the choice between arts and sports I would have picked arts in a heartbeat - no matter the missing talent :D

I had to do both - and let me tell you, I have been known to miss more than 50% of my sports classes because I couldn't be arsed to show up there :D
