NaNoWriMo Update - Day 8

After a day spent at uni, without any chance of writing I had to make up for lost time - I started writing roughly at 11:30 p.m. so today's screenshot is once again incorrect.

I've just stopped typing, grabbed another coffee and will now concentrate on watching the US election.

So, here are my current stats:


The pic shows me below my intended word-goal, but keep in mind that it's past midnight once again.
I'm currently at 13,553 words, I should have 15,000 to be on par with the goal to reach 50,000 on November 30. Which means that I'll need to write 1447 words sometime during the next 22 hours. Should be doable, even if I have another full day ahead of me. (And most likely will have to take an extended nap somewhen to catch up on lost sleep. Why can't the US vote on the weekend, when I don't have to show up at a lecture at 9 a.m. the next day?!)

Anyway, I'll count myself as still on track for today :) - let's see how things will look tomorrow night.

On reflection, writing instead of watching might have been more enjoyable!

Absolutely!

I can't tell you how pissed off I was after that night - not only didn't I write instead of watching, no, I also managed to get a damn painful crick in my neck by lying on the sofa's armrest during the early hours of the night.

It really wasn't worth a sleepless night.
