NaNoWriMo Update - Day 27

Despite doing quite a bit of catching up with my other obligations today, I managed to get a bit writing in as well.

Sadly, there is still no kissing going on. *sigh*
BUT! I can offer some licking and sucking instead *grins wickedly* :D

I'd say there's hope for the kissing now ;)

On a side note and only loosely connected to my fic: Today I caught up a bit on my reading for uni, in particular for my "History of English" course, and funnily enough read about the Scandinavian Invasion of Britain in ~850 where a bunch of Danes invaded and occupied Canterbury... I had A LOT of fun with that, let me tell you ;)

Sounds good. If you want some extra reading on that topic Bernard Cornwell's novel is very good.

I enjoyed it not least because I 'Googled' all the place names he uses and found out that I had visited most of the places he writes about.

It's fiction but he's pretty well known for doing his research so I'd imagine factually correct as far as it can be.

If it's a good story I'm more than willing to live with fictional liberties as well ;) - but of course an accurate representation of the historical facts is even better!

(Maybe I shouldn't read a more fictionalized account of what happened directly before taking the examn, but other than that I'd be quite okay with sloppy research as well ;) )
