NaNoWriMo Update - Day 28 & 29

I have struggled with the scene the boys had demanded of me for the last two days. I think I deleted more words than I actually wrote in the end, but about an hour ago things finally fell into place and I managed to finish it in a way I am happy with and which helps me to (finally) write that fucking first kiss.

As the wonderful silvan_lady aptly put it: Orlando knows best! In hindsight, he was right to demand another evening with Viggo before I move things along.

So, tomorrow -on the last official day of NaNo2016- I'm going to write that first kiss. Tonight I started working on the scene, set it in motion, and all I have to decide now is how to orchestrate the being-kissed/kissing-back/kissing thing ;)

NaNoWriMo Update - Day 30

My final NaNoWriMo update *sad sigh*

First of all, let me just say that I've never made a better decision than participating in NaNo. It's been a joy, I've had endless hours of fun, and most of all - it pressured me into writing daily, something I hadn't done in a decade or more.
Starting into this adventure I didn't think I could write 50.000 words, let alone in a month. I haven't written anything creative in years and years and the few times I did try, it always ended up with me being frustrated, more words deleted than written, and the certainty that my muse had left me for good.
Well - not any more :D

And now, after 30 days, I'm at 56.000 words, and haven't even started on the story's "real" plot *grins*
- and what's more: I'm sooooo looking forward to continue writing. Where others are happy that the month/NaNo is over, I'm sad to see it go. It's been the best month I've had in ages!

AND - on the last day, I've finally written THE KISS. It happened! The boys have FINALLY given in :D
What a wonderful way to end the NaNo-challenge! ;)
