NaNoWriMo Update - Day 30/ Post-NaNoWriMo Update - Day 1

I think I mentioned before that I set my goal for writing another 50.000 words during the next two months. This is an educated guess, if you can even call it 'educated' - I know there are still tons to be written in oder to tell the story I want to tell, however, I frankly have no idea how long the monster will be in the end or what I'll be writing between what I have now and the idea I have for a plot point, or how much I'm going to write after reaching that crucial moment of the story. So yeah, 100.000 words might be my goal or might be just another staging post along the way.... we'll have to wait and see, I guess.

That being said, let's move on to what I actually wanted to post ;)

Technically, I would count this update as still counting for NaNo Day 30 -the customary post-midnight status- but since NaNo has wrapped up roughly three hours ago, I'll file it both as Day30/Post-NaNo Day 1 ;)

A new era has begun! (imagine dramatic music playing in the background, will you?)

Anyway - I've added about 1000 words to the story since midnight, but these were mostly rough (and rather dry) facts I had to work in, in order to develop one of the story arcs. *sigh* No new kisses, sadly. But I managed to squeeze in a bit of touching at the very least ;)

As a side-note: I really should think about a name for the fic in order to be able to tag these posts correctly. For the time being I'll stay with NaNoWriMo2016, because that's what it still is, after all - my NaNo-baby :)
