The Dark Knight

We really had to wait for too long ...
But unfortunately I have to admit that I liked the first one much better than Dark Knight. Where Batman Begins was a psychogramme of a normal person who is forced into the role of a "superhero" by circumstance, Dark Knight is pure action. Which is quite okay, I guess, but I'm not the kind of girl who is that much into action to actually LOVE 3 hours of it.
But....
...and of course there's a but...
... I love the JOKER.
I've never ever seen a villain that scared me so much, that made me laugh so hard. Heath Ledger's performance is breathtaking, he made my skin crawl, sent shivers down my spine, made me laugh until I cried.
His Joker is the best ever. This Joker is so special, that I really can't put my feeling down in words.
But one thing is for certain - this Joker deserves an Oscar more than anything else.
I've never been the biggest fan of Heath, I used to like him in some of his movies, I used to dislike him in others, but his Joker is so perfect, it feels so right and wrong at the same time, that I simply sat there, stunned into silence, crying for the loss of him.
He's been one of the most promising young actors, possibly even the best actor of his generation... his death, our loss, will always be mourned.
