LotR Challenge 13

13 - Favourite Weapon

I'll chose two sets of weapons instead of just one.

The first one are Aragorn's weapons:


Andúril - Flame of the West, forged from the shards of Narsil




and

Aragorn's dagger





And the second set are Legolas' weapons



his bow of the Galadhrim




and



Legolas' knives





I'd take any of these or all of them any day :)

Absolutely!

I did think about adding the Shards of Narsil, because they are just beautiful (and beautifully displayed) - but then I thought that the choice of Anduril included them anyway.

I also should have included Hadhafang, which is an stunningly beautiful sword (and I LOVE that Arwen uses a sword similar to Haldir's - having spent a lot of time in Lórien with her grandparents it's just fitting that she favours a sword used in the Golden Wood).

And while I don't like the overall sword, I'm very much in love with the hilt of Theodén's sword - the two horse heads forming a heart is just too beautiful for words!
