*snickers* the dangers of spending too much time analysing films - too much technical terms floating around in this brain of mine ;)
I have to admit though, that I spent the last years referring to this type of zoom as a "frozen zoom" - I'm absolutely sure that I learned it like that years ago, and when I wanted to look up a definition of this effect a few days ago I couldn't find any reference to "frozen zooms" and had to figure out that the term I was looking for actually was "dolly zoom".
And I can't find my notes for the lecture where I first was introduced to this zoom... *grumbles* I'm absolutely sure the prof referred to it as frozen zoom and I want to find the prove :D
