21 - Most Inspiring Moment

"Put aside the Ranger, BECOME WHO YOU ARE BORN TO BE"

This quote in particular helped me through a hard time in my life. I didn't know what I wanted to do, I didn't know where I wanted to go - I had lost my sense of self and my way, listening to others and their opinion of what I should or should not do or be.

And then this quote came along and hit something deep inside me. It gave me the courage and strenght to stop listening to others and find my own way, to set out on the road of becoming who I was born to be.

I'm still walking this road, and I'm still trying to find my destination, my life's purpose - but by now I'm true to myself and the things I am passionate about. And whenever the demands of society let me question my way I turn to this scene, this quote. It never fails to inspire and move me, it never fails to give me the strenght and courage it first inspired more than 10 years ago.

Yes, you're absolutely right!

I love hearing how the books and films changed so many people's life, how they inspired and encouraged and how they made us find friends in places we wouldn't even know without them.

The LotR-verse and fandom is a never ending well of great stories, incredible people and stunning friendships!
