NaNoWriMo Update - Day 10

Short update (bear in mind it's once again past midnight):



To stay on track I should have reached my word target of 16,666 on day 10. I've overshot a bit (for once) and am currently at 16,878. Yay!
Tomorrow (and on the weekend) I'll most likely have more time to write than during the last three days, so I should easily keep on track and (hopefully) build up a bit of surplus for next week.

Just for the record, by the way, I'm only about 4 chapters in. I'll predict here and now that the story will end up longer than 50,000 words - not in November, obviously, but someday. :)

I'm really looking forward to writing tomorrow. I have no idea what is going to happen and I'm really looking forward to what my characters will come up with ;)

LOL! Yes, I've had characters that do that. Sometimes I have to rein them in and make them follow the script!

Since there's no actual script (other than "somehow they'll fall in LOOOOOHOOOOOVEEEEEE and so on and so forth"), I'm rather grateful that the boys currently do whatever they want to do. :D

I've had hardly any planning done before starting to write... I'm a proud pantser this NaNo, I think :D But so far it's been working out pretty well, considering that I'm still on track.

Let's see how long this approach will work out ... Cross your fingers, will you? :)
